For more than 20 years, RUF has been reaching Furman students for Christ and equipping them to serve the church. RUF is open to all students - the convinced and the unconvinced, the bored and the passionate, the faithful and the skeptic. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Reformed University Fellowship at the Furman University!
We invite you to celebrate and give thanks for how the Lord has been at work the last 25 years, and catch a vision for the next 25 years of bringing Jesus to Furman students in truth, grace, and love.
- This weekend is geared towards alumni, but donors and friends of Furman RUF are welcome to join.
- Please fill out this contact form to receive information about the weekend if you haven't already and share with your friends!
- Friday night we’ll gather at a local brewery, Saturday we’ll have breakfast and Large Group followed by free time (attend the football game if you want!).
- Saturday night will be our big event—a celebration of how God has been at work and will continue to be at work on Furman’s campus! Children are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend events throughout the weekend with the exception of the Saturday night dinner.
- We suggest a minimum donation of $100/person for the Saturday evening dinner to help us cover costs.
- Give to the Anniversary Weekend Fund here.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Meet Our Team

Tom Hart
Tom Hart was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. While studying at the University of Georgia, he got involved with RUF, where he encountered Jesus for the first time. He also met his wife, Chané, in history class, who is originally from South Africa but grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. After college, Tom served as an RUF intern at Auburn University, then attended Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, then planted a new chapter of RUF at East Carolina University. After serving at ECU for 6 years, the Harts made the transition to Furman, which is in Chane's hometown of Greenville, SC. Tom and Chané spend most of their free time thoroughly enjoying their four children, Simon (born in 2012), Ragan (born in 2014), Bauer (born 2016), and Catherine (born 2018)

Bennett Brock
Bennett grew up on Lookout Mountain, Georgia surrounded by lots of siblings and cousins. After graduating from high school in a pandemic, he was nervous about college at the University of Georgia and doubted that he would find the same tight-knit community he had experienced at home. But God gave him that gift of family all over again through RUF! Bennett graduated from UGA in 2024 with degrees in Linguistics and Spanish and a minor in Ecology. He loves hiking, watching movies with friends (especially Harry Potter), folk music, and sunsets. He is so excited to move to Greenville and share the love of Christ with the students at Furman!
