Reformed Univeristy Fellwowship (RUF) is an on-campus student organization at Mississippi College committed to reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve. If you are a new or current student at MC, we would love to meet you and learn how we as campus ministry can serve you.
Jeff became the RUF Campus Minister at Mississippi College in June '12. Prior to coming to MC, Jeff worked with RUF at the University of Texas at Tyler for six years. Jeff is originally from Madison, MS, and received his undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Journalism at Mississippi State University. He earned his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. His wife, Dominique, is from Fort Worth, TX. She has an English degree with an Art minor from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Following college, she worked with RUF as intern at Mississippi State for three years, which is where she met Jeff. They have four children- Jeffrey, Wells, Henry and Caroline. We love working with college students and teaching them about the Lord. As a family, we like to play "Sharks and minnows" in our front yard, and we eat breakfast for dinner on Sunday nights.
Julia grew up in the small town of Seminary, MS as part of a family of five. (She has a twin brother and a sister who is two years and one day younger!) She is a recent graduate of The University of Mississippi, where she received a BA in Studio Art and Communications. (Hotty Toddy!) Freshman year, she followed her roommate to an RUF Ice Cream Social and began attending RUF regularly soon after. Julia is so excited about her time at Mississippi College, and can’t wait to love and serve the student body during her time as an RUF Intern.
Johnson is originally from Birmingham, Alabama, but grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He attended Mississippi State University where he received his BBA in both Finance and Management. Johnson was heavily involved in RUF at MSU all four years of college and cannot wait to continue his role in RUF as an intern at Mississippi College. Johnson enjoys playing guitar and mandolin, sports, and fishing.
