Ashley Walden

Ashley Walden joined RUF in 2022 as part of the donor services team. While attending Tusculum University in Tennessee, where she studied history education and played softball for the Lady Pioneers, Ashley was part of a group of teammates who attended church and participated in a women's Bible study group together. Those pivotal years deepened her faith and gave her a passion for helping college students find community and grow spiritually—a mission she's excited to support through RUF.

After college, Ashley taught high school history before earning her Master of Education in School Library Sciences and becoming a school librarian. Her love of reading led her into nonprofit work, where she also serves as an Executive Board Member of the Tome Student Literacy Society.

Ashley and her husband, Aaron, have been married since 2015, and enjoy traveling as much as possible. Ashley also loves hiking, reading, cross stitching, and recommending books to those in search of a good read.
