Rod Mays

Rod Mays has served with RUF since 1999, first as Coordinator for 17 years. Since 2018 he has served as Coordinator Emeritus working with Church, Presbytery and donor relations. Rod is an adjunct professor of counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary and has been an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America for 49 years, pastoring churches in West Virginia, Mississippi, and South Carolina.

Rod is a graduate of Covenant College and received his Master’s of Education from West Georgia University. He also studied at New Orleans Seminary, Westminster California Seminary, and Trinity Seminary/Canterbury Christ Church University, Canterbury, England. Rod and Debbe have been married since 1975 and enjoy living in Greenville, South Carolina. The Mayses worship at Downtown Presbyterian Church in Greenville, with their daughter Meg (Michael) and grandchildren, Mays (2013) and Eliza (2017).
