Sharine Buchanan

Sharine is a San Francisco Bay Area native. Born in Oakland, she lived in SF from infancy and stayed in the Bay Area until moving to North Carolina in 2013. Though a worshiper at heart, she was classically trained at UC Berkeley and the SF Conservatory of Music. Most importantly, she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ as a child and seeks to live for and love Him well.

Sharine came to RUF in 2023 with many years in a wide range of accounting experience, having worked in the property management, medical, retail, and non-profit sectors. She loves that she gets to work behind the scenes to see the Gospel taught and exemplified on the campuses.

Sharine is a Peet’s Coffee enthusiast, mostly loving spending time at home with the Lord in the Bible, worship, and her favorite cup of Peet's!
