Welcome to RUF at the University of Tulsa (TU)! RUF has been active on campus since 2000 and has a vibrant group of both those who are committed to Christ as well as those who are curious about the Christian faith. There are different ways to get involved with us on campus. Join us every Wednesday at 7:30 pm in Sharp Chapel!

Walker Rose

Walker Rose

Campus Associate

Walker graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2018 with a degree in Human Sciences. During the summers, Walker worked at a summer camp in Arkansas where he met his wife, Shelby, who was a student at the University of Tennessee. After graduating from OSU, Walker served as an Intern with RUF at the University of Tennessee before moving to North Carolina to attend Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte. Shelby and Walker are thrilled to call Oklahoma home and to be ministering to the students through RUF at TU.

Walker loves all things outdoors, working on trucks and cars, and spending time with his wife and children (Magnolia Mae and James Walker).

Bryce Nguyen

Campus Assistant

Bryce grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Although not raised in a Christian home, the Lord saved him on a crisp morning in Colorado at the age of 17. Convinced of the Gospel, Bryce enrolled at Oklahoma State University, with hopes of being led into full-time ministry. After graduating in 2019 with a degree in Human Sciences, he moved to Dallas, where he was on staff with a local church for 3 years, and began his seminary education. In January 2025, Bryce moved to Tulsa to join RUF in ministering to college students at TU, as he finishes his degree at Reformed Theological Seminary.

Bryce loves music, learning, wrestling, and spending time with friends and family.

Hannah Murphy

Hannah Murphy

Campus Staff

Hannah grew up in Jenks, Oklahoma, and graduated in 2021 from The University of Tulsa with a degree in Mathematics. She didn’t grow up as a Christian, but the RUF staff and community at TU quickly showed her the grace and love of Jesus. By the end of her freshman year, she had a relationship with Him and a love for her RUF community. After graduating, Hannah spent a year working as a software developer but felt a deep desire to return to RUF and do ministry full-time. She is so excited to pursue freshmen at her alma mater alongside the staff that loved her so well when she was a student. Hannah met her husband, Brennan, through RUF at TU, and they have been married since May of 2021. She loves long walks by the river, playing sports and board games, frequenting Tulsa’s coffee shops, and having meals with friends.
