Welcome to RUF at USF. We are a campus ministry that seeks to help students grow in their faith, make friends, and serve the campus. Whether you are a first year freshmen or a last semester senior, a committed Christian or a curious skeptic, we would love for you to join us at any of our weekly events.

Meet Our Team
Aldo Mondin
Aldo graduated from the University of North Florida in 2015 and attended Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Abby, were involved in RUF in college and have loved it ever since. They have one son: Winston, who always fills their home with laughter. Aldo, enjoys reading, cycling, and watching his beloved soccer team: Liverpool FC. Aldo joined RUF in 2019 and is excited to be the campus minister at USF!
Alise Berrojo
Alise was raised in Sarasota, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2023 with a major in Health Sciences and minor in Aging Sciences. She loves baking, camping, concerts and painting! She also loves being outside, playing sports, and is always up to hammock! RUF was there for her since her first day moving in on campus. Alise loved her time at RUF and found deep friendship and growth in that community. She is so excited to serve as an intern reaching students for Christ and creating a community together at USF as an intern. Go Bulls!
Jacob Huneycutt
Jacob Huneycutt was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig Sooie!) in 2021 with a major in history and a minor in global studies. He then completed a Master of Arts in history at Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2023. Outside of his normal work, you can't find him spending time with friends at a local coffee shop or with church community, he is probably working out, reading theology, or driving around and exploring new places. Jacob was raised in a Christian household but started following the Lord during his freshman year in college. Soon after that, he got into Reformed theology, but he is just recently new to Presbyterianism! Jacob got several opportunities during his undergrad to serve in college ministry, including as a collegeĀ intern for his church, and has increasingly felt a burning desire to do it full time. He is excited to serve with RUF these next two years.
Becca Romano
Becca is originally from Goose Creek, South Carolina, and graduated from the College of Charleston in May 2022 (Roll Cougs!). She accomplished a degree in Public Health with a minor in Psychology. Becca loves nearly every latte, so long as it includes oat milk. She is always down to search for shark teeth at the beach, play pickleball, spikeball, or skate around. Her French bulldog, Rocky, is her best friend and favorite walking buddy. She enjoys music, dancing, singing, and simply being outside. Becca found a home with the RUF at CofC through the consistent encouragement of her leaders and friends and is eager to foster the same loving environment at the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!). Becca genuinely enjoys RUF and is incredibly excited to serve in Tampa!
