Welcome to the RUF Ministry at the University of Minnesota! We are a Gospel-centered, Bible-believing organization of students on the University of Minnesota Minneapolis/St. Paul campus. RUF works alongside students to help them grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of the gospel, and show the love of Jesus to the college campus. We emphasize the truth found in Scripture, Christian community, the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers, and outreach to the lost on campus.

Brandon Haan
Brandon and Erin Haan have a heart to see college students grow in their faith through an expanding knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. They are passionate about building a Christian community that not only seeks the truth found in God's Word, but that lives out the gospel in all of life. With their two boys, Theo and Everett, they welcome students into their lives and their homes.
McKenna Lewis
McKenna grew up in a small town in eastern Kansas and moved to Minneapolis for college. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with her bachelor's of science in microbiology in May of 2025. You can often find her reading, trying out a new coffee shop, or writing! McKenna found RUF her freshman year of college, and quickly fell in love with the community. Over and over again, she was reminded of the gospel through some of the hardest seasons of her life. McKenna looks forward to walking alongside students at the U, and seen the Lord work in their lives!
