Meet Our Team
Richard Smith
Richard Smith is the RUF-International campus minister at Penn State University. He is a graduate of both Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). His wife of 29 years, Lynne, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. They have one son, Richard III (26), one daughter, Evelyn (24), and one grandchild, Isabella (2). Richard and Lynne are excited to be working with the many international students at Penn State University.
Trenton Cleveland
Trenton grew up in Seguin, TX, and attended Texas A&M University—Kingsville. While there, he felt the call to pastoral ministry and moved to North Carolina to attend Reformed Theological Seminary, where he obtained his Master's of Divinity. Trenton is married to Megan, and together, they love hosting friends and family for their semi-regular Friday dinners (where Trenton experiments with new recipes), critiquing movies, exploring new cultures, and playing video games. They are very excited to meet the international students at Penn State and share the gracious love of Jesus Christ.
