Weston Duke
Weston was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and attended the University of Tennessee, where he met his wife Hannah. After graduating from UTK, the two married and moved to Memphis, where Weston served as an RUF intern at Rhodes College while Hannah worked as a commercial interior designer. From there, the Dukes moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where Weston attended Covenant Theological seminary. They have lived in Murfreesboro since 2018 and have two daughters, Emma and Olivia.
McKenna (Coartney) Smith
McKenna Coartney grew up surrounded by cornfields in the small town of Eureka, Illinois. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and graduated in December 2022 with her bachelor's degree in dance and psychology. The Lord graciously provided her with a connection to RUF UWM during her first week of school, and throughout college, RUF allowed McKenna to experience the freedom found within the beauty of the gospel. She is so ecstatic to have the opportunity to serve the students at Middle Tennessee State University and to be able to finally experience life in the South. McKenna enjoys dancing, paddleboarding, painting, drinking coffee, hiking, lifting, and pretty much anything else that allows her to be outside.
Garrett McLain
Garrett is from Shreveport, Louisiana, and graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2023 with a degree in Political Science and Pre-Law. He didn't have RUF at LA Tech but grew up in the Presbyterian church and knows how God uses it to share his Word with college students in need of life and light. He hopes to be an instrumental part of God's work at Middle Tennessee State University as a vessel of the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. In his free time, Garrett loves to talk and get to know others, have deep conversations, dance, play outside/inside sports and games, work out, read, watch movies and shows, glorify God and enjoy him forever!
