Meet Our Team
Ben Spivey
Ben's journey with RUF began at Liberty University, where his active involvement in RUF led him to consider full-time ministry. At that time, he also crossed paths with Kirstin, whom he quickly made his wife, and a year later, their shared sense of calling to the ministry led them to Corpus Christi, Texas, where Ben interned with RUF.
Fast forward a few years, and adding a seminary degree and two kids they found themselves called back to Lynchburg to serve with RUF at Ben's alma mater and other surrounding campuses.
Now, after settling in Lynchburg, and with the addition of another family member, their love for Lynchburg and the student community remains as strong as ever.
They share a deep love of food and an unwavering adoration for their children (we talk about them way too much).

Ayden Henson
Ayden grew up in Lexington, Virginia - only an hour away from where he got his Biblical Studies degree and met his wife Chandini at Liberty University. While studying at Liberty Ayden joined RUF and enjoyed getting to grow and learn alongside peers while learning to take part in what God is doing throughout the world. He actually loves Lynchburg RUF so much that he will be working there as an intern as well.
Ayden loves backpacking, specialty coffee, and savory foods. If you ever want to drink some jitter juice, talk missions, or stuff your face - come hang.
