Meet Our Team

Christopher Blackman

Christopher Blackman

Campus Minister

Chris is excited to share the love of Christ and serve the students of KSU through RUF. He was born in Oakland, California, and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 5th grade, his father had a massive stroke that left him physically and mentally disabled. After his dad’s stroke, his family moved to Rossville, Georgia, to be closer to family. After graduating high school, he moved to the Atlanta area where he attended Kennesaw State University (GO OWLS!) and graduated in 2014 with a degree in World History. In the fall of 2012, Jesus confronted him about his rebellion and sin. He was brought to his knees on the floor of his room in repentance and knew the power of the grace of God through faith in Jesus. He felt the call to ministry and attended RTS in Atlanta where he graduated in 2019 with a Master of Divinity degree. He met his wife Kelsey in 2016 at a conference in St. Louis while she was on staff with RUF International. They were married in 2018 and now have two wonderful children, a daughter Genesis, and a son Shepherd. They had dreamed about working with college students and when the chance opened to serve at KSU they jumped at the opportunity. Chris loves to cook for other people, drinks way too much coffee, gets overly competitive when it comes to four-square, and loves seeing people grow in their faith, hope, and love in Jesus.

Grace Potter

Grace Potter

Campus Staff

Grace was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She is thankful for God's grace in her life, which drew her to Himself as a young girl. Grace attended Covenant College, graduating in 2019 with a degree in Biblical & Theological Studies. After graduating, Grace served for 2 years as the RUF intern at Kennesaw State. During the internship, the Lord planted a love for college students in her heart. Following the internship, Grace took a job teaching 1st grade. However, RUF was never far from her heart and mind. After 3 years of teaching, she felt the Lord calling her back to RUF. In 2024, Grace began serving as Campus Staff at Kennesaw State. She is humbled and grateful that the Lord has given her the opportunity to serve Him through loving students and sharing the hope of Jesus with them!

Bruce Clark

Bruce Clark

Intern

Bruce was born and raised in Buford, GA. He graduated from UNG in 2025 with a bachelor's in journalism. In his free time, Bruce loves to spend time with friends and family or obsess over anything nerdy, from books and history to video games and movies. Bruce is very excited about his internship with RUF and can't wait to serve the students of Kennesaw State University!
