Join us Tuesdays at 7:30 pm, upstairs in the Union in the Flint Hills Room

Welcome to Reformed University Fellowship at Kansas State University! RUF has been active on campus since 2013 and has a vibrant group of those who are committed to Christ as well as those who are curious about the Christian faith. We have a number of different ways for you to get connected including small group Bible studies, large group, and social events. Regardless of your beliefs or doubts, RUF is a place for you to explore Christianity and grow in your understanding of who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him alongside others. We hope you'll come around, get to know us, and let us get to know you!

Jon Dunning

Jon Dunning

Campus Minister

Rev. Jon Dunning grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin, graduated from Miami University (Ohio, not Florida) with degrees in mathematics and secondary education, and received a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis.

While in seminary, he fell for a smart, beautiful, out-going engineer from St. Louis named Tricia and they were married in 1999. They have been blessed with three kids: Lucy (2004), Jack (2007), and Thad (2011). When he can find or make the time, Jon watches football and reads.

Jon served for over nine years as Associate Pastor at Oak Hills Presbyterian Church in Overland Park, Kansas. The Dunnings moved to Manhattan in August 2013 to start an RUF work at Kansas State. They are thrilled to serve college students through the gospel at “K-State.”

Adelyn (Beans) Sun

Adelyn (Beans) Sun

Intern

Adelyn is a graduate of Geneva College with a B.A. in Music and a B.A. in Musicology. She often passes the time baking, thrifting, and striving to make the perfect cup of coffee. Adelyn has grown up in the church and has known the Lord since she was young. RUF became a part of her life when her father became an RUF campus minister at Millersville University when she was 12 years old. Her parents still serve with RUF at UMBC in Baltimore County and Adelyn is so excited to continue to serve with RUF in a whole new capacity. Adelyn and her husband, Stephen, cannot wait to start a new adventure in Manhattan, Kansas, and join the RUF ministry at Kansas State University!

Tyler Luehrs

Tyler Luehrs

Intern

Tyler Luehrs is a graduate from Wichita State University with a degree in Spanish. Tyler realized that he wanted to go into ministry three years into college, and he set his mind to learn and pour into others while he was still in school. Tyler did not have an RUF established in Wichita, however, he was involved in campus ministry through the Navigators. Tyler loves his local PCA church where he serves in the youth ministry and takes part in a community group with his friends. He is sad to leave but excited to be a part of the church in Manhattan.

In his free time he enjoys reading, playing sports, and spending quality time with friends. Tyler also loves studying theology and learning new fantastic things the Lord has made. Tyler is very excited to join the staff on K-State's campus where he will bond with the students and teach them to grow in their walk with Christ with others.
