Reformed University Fellowship is a Christian fellowship comprised of ECU students learning love God, love students, and love ECU. Through community, prayer, worship, and teaching, RUF seeks to thoughtfully consider and communicate the grace and truth of Jesus Christ, as expressed in the Reformed theological tradition. Though RUF is presbyterian in affiliation, it welcomes students from all backgrounds and perspectives.
RUF gathers weekly in large and small groups, on campus and in student housing, to enjoy friendship while considering together the grace earned for us in Jesus. RUF also travels for a regional retreat to the North Carolina mountains as well as a summer conference at a beach in Florida. Meet Our Team

Skylar Adams
Skylar is from Clayton and attended Appalachian State, where he met his wife, Dori, also a North Carolina native. After graduation in 2010, Skylar worked as a policy advisor for the North Carolina Senate before discerning a call to pastoral ministry. That call led the Adamses to Dallas and then Saint Louis where Skylar earned his Master of Divinity at Covenant Seminary in 2018. Before RUF, Skylar was the Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville, Georgia. The Adamses have two daughters and one son: Eleanor (born 2016), Anna (born 2019), and Benjamin (born 2022). Together they enjoy hosting friends and inviting students into their ordinary lives.
Natalie Feldmann
I am from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In 2024, I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design with a minor in Business. I started attending RUF during my last two years of college and gained a Christ centered community. That foundation has allowed me to both serve and be served. The season of living at home has been a lesson of trusting the Lord. Stepping into ministry, I can't wait to challenge students to do the same with God's will over their lives. More often than not, you can find me with friends doing just about anything. I love crafts, being outdoors, going on trips, and playing games.

Robbie Kurtz
Robbie was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He attended Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA, where he majored in Business Management. In college, RUF gave him a great, loving community for him to grow and strengthen his faith. Robbie loves being active, playing a variety of sports, hanging out with friends, and a good book! He is excited to work with RUF at ECU and walk alongside students as they pursue a relationship with the Lord.
