Growing up with a PCA church planter father, Laura Straka knew that when she got to the University of Virginia as a student she could find trustworthy teaching and community at RUF. She never thought, however, that she would go into ministry. Throughout college God continued to reveal her gifts of listening and encouragement, till Laura eventually decided to pursue the internship. After her time in the internship at Emory University, Laura found her call to full and long term ministry, at which point she moved to the Campus Staff position.
