What is the best way to get to know someone? You can ask the right kind of questions. You can spend one-on-one time with the person. You can participate in their favorite hobby.
You can also look at what they value.
In honor of the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, let’s get to know the man behind it all: Martin Luther. Since it would be difficult to ask Luther questions, spend time with him, or participate in his favorite hobbies, let’s take a look at what he valued in an attempt to get to know him a little better.
Here are 5 quotes straight from the mouth of Luther that show us what he valued most:
1. “To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.”
