Welcome to RUF at Auburn! Our mission is to reach students for Christ and equip them with the knowledge and experience they need to serve in God's Kingdom for the rest of their lives. As an organization we strive to embody the lived graciousness of the Gospel proclaimed by Jesus Christ and his disciples. We believe that you are never so good that you are beyond the need of God's grace and you are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God's grace, offered in Jesus.

Meet Our Team
Tanner Crum
The Crums have been serving with RUF at Auburn since 2019 (from left: Spender (2020), Tanner, Kelsey, Rosalie (2024), and Heston (2022). Tanner and Kelsey went to the University of South Carolina where they were first introduced to RUF as students. After college, they moved to Greenville, SC, and Tanner worked as an RUF Intern at Furman University. In 2015, Tanner began his seminary career at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte where he received his M.Div. and Kelsey founded a mobile dance outreach non-profit organization called Carolina Dance Collaborative. During his time in seminary, Tanner worked at Downtown Presbyterian Church, Grace and Peace Presbyterian Church and was an Interim Campus Minister at Wofford College. Needless to say, they love RUF and are excited to be a part of the work God is doing at Auburn!
Andrew Mauney
Andrew is originally from Mooresville, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in philosophy in 2022. After graduation, he spent a year on staff with Salem Presbyterian Church in Winston Salem before joining RUF at MIT and then Auburn. When Andrew is not spending time with college students, you can find him on the golf course, reading a good book, or enjoying a cup of coffee. Andrew loves the ministry of RUF and is passionate about seeing God at work in the lives of college students.
Gracie Mauney
Gracie grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a major in communication and minors in health and human services and classical studies. She loves long walks with friends, coffee, good books, and the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. Gracie experienced God's goodness in immeasurable ways during her time in RUF at Wake Forest and throughout her three years of the RUF Internship. She could not be more excited to stay on staff with Auburn RUF and walk alongside college students as they experience God at work in their lives.
Sam Allen
Sam Allen is from Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a major in kinesiology. In college, he was involved in RUF, serving on their leadership team. He loves the outdoors, sports, being active, reading, and music. He spent two summers in college working at Alpine Camp for Boys in Mentone, Alabama. The combination of RUF and Alpine is where God revealed the desire to pursue ministry full time. He is thrilled to be moving to Auburn for the next two years to help reach and equip students for Christ!
Elizabeth Beasley
Elizabeth Beasley grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and graduated from Wake Forest University with a major in psychology and minors in NNeuroscience and Spanish. She loves dance, hot yoga, pickleball, coffee, spending quality time with friends and family, and being with her dogs. During college, she served on RUF leadership, spent two summers working as a camp counselor, and served on the summer crew at JH Ranch in Etna, California. RUF played a transformative role in her life, shaping both who she is and her walk with Christ today. She is beyond excited to be joining staff at Auburn University and cannot wait to connect with and walk alongside students as the Lord works through each of their unique stories! War Eagle!
Evan England
Evan grew up in a small town outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Public Policy Leadership and minors in Southern Studies and Journalism. Some of Evan's favorite moments from RUF Ole Miss were meeting with his interns. RUF also served as a place to find rest during his busy weeks. Evan loves watching SEC football, listening to music (his favorites are Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, and Andrew Peterson), taking late-night drives, and playing pickleball! He is excited to meet students at Auburn and grow closer to Christ during the Internship.
