John Meinen is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder ('04) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary ('12). Before starting RUF at UVM, John served low-income entrepreneurs in the Bay Area, studied microfinance in Bangladesh, led backpacking trips for Outward Bound, and completed a year-long fellowship program in the nation's capital. His wife, Megan, is the Director for UVM's Adventure Ropes Course. The Meinens have a two-year-old daughter named Willa and a silver lab named Coulter. They would love to meet you. Kelsey Rodriguez graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Western Carolina University. She grew up in the foothills of North Carolina, otherwise known as Hickory. She enjoys backpacking, going to concerts, and watching Wes Anderson films. Her favorite pastime is drinking coffee and playing board games with close friends. During her years in college, she loved being a part of the RUF family and looks forward to loving the students at the University of Vermont. #gocatsforever
