Who is Jesus? Was he a great prophet, an insightful teacher, a holy man, a compelling personality, or was he something more? Does it even matter?
The Apostle John insists that it does matter. In fact, it matters more than anything else in this world. Together we will seek the answers to these questions in our Fall series:
"Who is Jesus? Exploring the Mysteries of Christ in the Gospel of John."
RUF Tyler welcomes both the convinced and the skeptical, the committed and the seeking. Come, be refreshed in Christ as we learn to love God, love others, and love the campus.

JB Wilbanks will begin serving as the Campus Minister for RUF Tyler this Fall 2017. JB was born and raised in Linden, a small town in North East Texas. JB's wife, Allison, is actually a Tyler native. JB and Allison both attended Texas A&M for college, where they met in their church's college ministry during their Sophomore year. JB graduated with a degree in Psychology and Allison in Biomedical Science in 2007. They were married that summer and moved to Dallas, where JB began attending Dallas Theological Seminary. A year later Allison began her graduate work at UNT Health Science Center to become a Physician Assistant.
During seminary the Lord led JB and Allison to find a church home in the Presbyterian Church in America. In the summer of 2013 they began to discern a possible calling to college ministry, and attended RUF assessment in the summer of 2014. Since that time, JB has been ministering to students at UT Arlington as Assistant Pastor at Christ Church Mansfield until he received the call to RUF Tyler.
JB and Allison have two children: a smart and spunky little girl, Lillian, born in April 2015; and a sweet ginger-headed boy, John Lewis, born in February 2017.
JB and Allison love East Texas, both for its beauty and its people, and are thrilled to join in on what God is doing in the hearts of students at UT Tyler and Tyler Junior College.
