Thank you for checking out RUF at UGA! Feel free to browse our page and familiarize yourself with the ministry of RUF at UGA. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail at jclement@ruf.org. I know that college can be an exciting time; however, it can also be a lonely time. So, as you get settled in and “find your niche” on campus, we would love for you to consider RUF at UGA!

Madeline is from Louisville, MS and graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Educational Psychology. After hearing about RUF from her friends and family Madeline quickly became involved her freshman year, and throughout her four years at MSU's RUF learned more about God's love and grace and the beauty of the gospel. Madeline enjoys hanging out with friends, watching the Office, playing volleyball, drinking coffee, and trying new foods. She is very excited about her next two years at the University of Georgia, and can't wait to get to know the students. Go Dawgs!

Joel was raised mostly in the south-east in a large ministry family. He graduated from UGA in 2015, and promptly married his wonderful wife, Maddie. Together they enjoy anything that gets them outdoors, meeting new people, eating good food, having people in our home, attending concerts, cheering on the Dawgs (next year is our year, every year...) and being involved in the UGA and Athens community.

On any given day you can find Joel riding his bike around Athens, relaxing in his favorite spots on campus, drinking coffee around 5 Points, at home doing administrative work on his computer looking longingly out of his window, or playing random sports with random people.

Ask Joel for restaurant, music, and exercise recommendations; and then when he won't stop talking, just tell him to stop. He looks forward to meeting you!
