RUF at LSU is a Christian organization where all are welcome regardless of personal or religious background. RUF is here for the “convinced” and the “unconvinced,” the lost, the found, the burned, bored, cynical, spiritual, etc. We invite you no matter where you are in the process, to RUF at LSU. If you are sending a student to LSU (family or friend) we would love to connect with them!

Amanda was born in Wasilla, Alaska and moved to Richford, Vermont (basically Canada) with her family when she was 14 years old. She is the oldest of 7 kids and enjoys having a big family. Amanda graduated from the University of Vermont (UVM) and majored in Social Work. Amanda was part of RUF at UVM all four years of college and it was during her Freshman year, that she accepted Jesus into her life. Since then, she became deeply involved with RUF and began leading Bible studies, co-leading worship, and ministering to her friends over many cups of coffee. Amanda is so thankful for RUF and is passionate about guiding college students to Christ.
Amanda LOVES reading, drinking coffee, playing the ukulele and singing, roller coasters, learning more about other’s, guacamole, softball, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and watching “Friends” on Netflix. Amanda is SO excited to get away from the snow and to experience the South! She is looking forward to meeting her students and to grow in her faith through this ministry.
Caleb was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Flower Mound, Texas. He attended Texas Christian University (TCU) and majored in News and Media Studies. During his time at TCU, Caleb was apart of RUF for three years; through RUF, Caleb was exposed to real community, accountability and the meaning of "reformed" in RUF. This has allowed Caleb to grow in his understanding of Christ and have a deeper appreciation for what the Lord has done for him.
In his free time, Caleb enjoys running, playing sports, watching Netflix, video games, reading a good book or just hanging out with friends. Caleb is also an avid sports fan and loves a good sports debate every now and then. He is not a big fan of coffee, but apparently will learn to love it. He cannot wait to go to campus and meet his new students. Geaux Tigers!
