RUF at LSU is a Christian organization where all are welcome regardless of personal or religious background. RUF is here for the “convinced” and the “unconvinced,” the lost, the found, the burned, bored, cynical, spiritual, etc. We invite you no matter where you are in the process, to RUF at LSU. If you are sending a student to LSU (family or friend) we would love to connect with them!
Before becoming the campus minister at LSU. Ande and Kelly served in RUF for eight years at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Ande grew up in Naples, Florida, and went to UCF to play baseball. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration. While at UCF, Ande met his wife Kelly who was studying Communicative Disorders also at UCF. After graduation he went to Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando graduating with a Masters in Divinity while Kelly stayed at UCF to get her masters.
Ande and Kelly have two sons and a daughter: Owen (6), Knox (4), and Harper (1)
Caleb was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Flower Mound, Texas. He attended Texas Christian University (TCU) and majored in News and Media Studies. During his time at TCU, Caleb was apart of RUF for three years; through RUF, Caleb was exposed to real community, accountability and the meaning of "reformed" in RUF. This has allowed Caleb to grow in his understanding of Christ and have a deeper appreciation for what the Lord has done for him.
In his free time, Caleb enjoys running, playing sports, watching Netflix, video games, reading a good book or just hanging out with friends. Caleb is also an avid sports fan and loves a good sports debate every now and then. He is not a big fan of coffee, but apparently will learn to love it. He cannot wait to go to campus and meet his new students. Geaux Tigers!
