Regardless of your beliefs or doubts, RUF at Davidson is a place for you to explore Christianity and grow in your understanding of who Jesus is and what it means to follow him in community with others. This community happens weekly through large group meetings, small groups, and individual meetings with fellow students, intern, or the campus minister over coffee or lunch.

Sid Druen was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina. While at Davidson, Sid became a Christian and met Tere, whom he later married. After three years teaching and coaching at a private school near Washington D.C., he moved to Orlando to attend Reformed Theological Seminary. During his time at R.T.S., he worked in a local Presbyterian church, interned with R.U.F. at University of Central Florida, and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree. He was the Campus Minister at New Mexico State University (2009-2013) before beginning as the Campus Minister at Davidson in Fall 2013. Sid and Tere have 3 children: Carol, William, and Millie.
Madison Drury was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where she grew up in a Christian family and attended private Christian schools all the way through high school. Growing up in the PCA, she planned on attending RUF when she got to college, but she never could have imagined just how much this ministry could have changed, challenged, and encouraged her. Madison went to undergrad at The University of Alabama (roll tide) and graduated in May, 2017, with a dual degree in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Community Engagement and Nonprofit Management. A few of Madison’s great loves include coffee, chocolate, food (growing it, cooking it, & of course eating it), reading, and exploring new places. She is so excited to get to be an RUF Intern at Davidson College!
I was born in Wilmington, Delaware, but grew up mostly in Atlanta, Georgia with my wonderful parents, older sister, and younger brother. I became a Christian my senior year of high school, and was quickly surrounded by great community that helped me grow at Restoration Presbyterian Church in Gwinnett. I continued to grow in college at UGA through various ministries, including RUF. I developed a desire to intern for RUF through my 3 years as a summer youth intern at Restoration. I graduated from UGA with bachelors degrees in communication studies and religion, and I also ran 4 years of track and cross country for UGA. My wife Lauren and I recently got married on June 16th, 2018, after dating since our junior year of high school.
