Welcome to RUF UW! We are an campus ministry at UW made up of a diverse group of students seeking to know, love, and serve Jesus together in community. Our ministry is not just for Christians, though, we are open to anyone looking to explore their faith. Alongside our student leaders, we have an ordained campus minister as well as a full-time campus intern who would love to connect with you and answer any questions about faith, life at UW, or any thing else you would be interested in talking about! RUF UW is a place where students can make good friends, ask good questions, and hear good news!

Meet Our Team
Braden Carter
Braden first attended RUF (City Campus) while he was a college student in New York City. After graduating from college he was an RUF Intern at UCLA from 2018-2020 and loved his experience as an intern. Following the internship he moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Seminary, where he graduated in May 2024 with a Masters of Divinity. Braden was born and raised in Simi Valley, CA in the greater Los Angeles area.
Braden is excited to continue the work that God has been doing with RUF at the University of Washington for multiple decades. RUF has had such an impact on Braden's life and he is looking forward to fostering a community on UW's campus that explores who Jesus is.
Braden enjoys drinking coffee, trying new food, playing volleyball, going to sporting events on campus or walking around campus. He would love to get to know you, spend time with you and invite you into the community of RUF.
