Welcome to RUF at the University of Tulsa (TU)! RUF has been active on campus since 2000 and has a vibrant group of both those who are committed to Christ as well as those who are curious about the Christian faith. There are different ways to get involved with us on campus. Join us every Wednesday at 7:30 pm in Sharp Chapel!

Hannah Murphy
Hannah grew up in Jenks, Oklahoma, and graduated in 2021 from The University of Tulsa with a degree in Mathematics. She didn’t grow up as a Christian, but the RUF staff and community at TU quickly showed her the grace and love of Jesus. By the end of her freshman year, she had a relationship with Him and a love for her RUF community. After graduating, Hannah spent a year working as a software developer but felt a deep desire to return to RUF and do ministry full-time. She is so excited to pursue freshmen at her alma mater alongside the staff that loved her so well when she was a student. Hannah met her husband, Brennan, through RUF at TU, and they have been married since May of 2021. She loves long walks by the river, playing sports and board games, frequenting Tulsa’s coffee shops, and having meals with friends.
Jack Myers
Jack Myers was born in Seattle, Washington, and grew up all over the United States. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2023 where he learned to love poetry, rhetoric, and ministry. A degree in English taught him not only the importance of communication, but the ability to understand people and the value of listening well. His time as an RUF student, however, taught him to truly love people. Jack also loves Thai food, beaches, and quoting from obscure episodes of SpongeBob. He’s thrilled about moving to Tulsa and getting plugged into a new community. Jack didn’t really expect to get accepted as an RUF intern or even to pursue ministry until his senior year of college, but he’s confident that TU is where he’s supposed to be and grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness.
