RUF is a campus ministry for UTSA that seeks to love God, love others, and love the campus. We do this by welcoming students, declaring the message of Jesus, providing them an opportunity to grow in grace, and encouraging them to serve the campus and church. Whether you have been a Christian all your life, are struggling with doubts, are unconvinced of Christianity, or anywhere in between we want to walk with you during these crucial years of college. Connect with us and we'd love to walk with you!

Lee Wright
Lee & Sarah Wright are native Texans, from Granbury and Amarillo, respectively, and are excited to work with students at UTSA! Lee & Sarah both graduated from Covenant Seminary in 2012 with Masters of Divinity and Masters of Arts in Counseling degrees. Before moving to San Antonio in 2020, Lee was the RUF campus minister at UCF in Orlando, FL for 6 years.
One of the surprising ways the Wrights have seen God at work is seeing the impact of hospitality for students. Serving a large campus, the Wrights have welcomed small groups of students in their home weekly for several years now. The Wright children always enjoy time with their college friends, and students being in the Wright’s home seems to ease the ache of anonymity on campus.
Lee would love to share stories about God at Work through RUF.

Zach Cleveland
Zach Cleveland is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a degree in Computer Science. Zach has lived his entire life in New Mexico coming from his big family of eleven. In his free time, Zach likes to play Ultimate Frisbee, go swing dancing, or listen and play music with his friends and family. Zach is looking forward to working with RUF in San Antonio to share the love of Christ with the students of UTSA.

Colton Gonzales
Colton and his wife Viviana were born in Harlingen, Texas, a city in the Rio Grande Valley. He graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. It is his prayer and hope that through the work of RUF, college students at UTSA will discover the marvelous grace of God in Jesus Christ. Colton enjoys reading, raiding bookstores, cooking, spending time outdoors, movie nights and dinners with his wife, and music of all sorts.
