University of Central Florida
Summer RUF!!! Reach out to staff for details (No Large group over summer).
RUF is a place for imperfect people. We understand that every person, regardless of outward happiness, beauty, or attitude, is falling short in some way. We believe that there's a great hope for this imperfection, and it's found in the perfect Savior, Jesus Christ. RUF is a place for those who know this story and want to grow deeper. It's a place for those struggling to believe. It's a place for those who have never heard such a story. We invite you into a community with people in process who cling to such a profound story.
Meet Our Team
Hardy and Bri Reynolds met, dated, and married right here in Florida and are loving campus ministry with RUF at UCF. Hardy graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando with a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2016 and a Masters of Divinity in 2019. In his counseling and ministry experience he has seen the incredible ways God works during the formative years of college and is excited to be reaching students for Christ on campus at UCF.
Jordon was born in Seattle, Washington but raised in Tacoma (40 minutes south of Seattle). He attended the University of Washington Seattle Campus and got his degree in Political Science, focusing on International Security. While being involved with RUF @ UW, he was taught how to love God and his people while having his silly and random questions tolerated by the Campus Minister, the Intern, and students.
Jordon loves discussing theology and international/national security topics. And if you see him with earbuds in, you can safely assume he is listening to Christian Hip Hop, particularly KB, Lecrae, and the like.
Breanne is from Omaha, Nebraska where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (Go MAVS!). Since 2020, she has been working at a non-profit assisting individuals and families experiencing homelessness in obtaining documentation and finding affordable housing. Breanne is passionate about bringing trauma-informed care to the Church. On her free days, she enjoys running, hiking, camping, spending time with friends and family, and in particular throwing dance parties with her many nieces and nephews.
Austin was born and raised in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He grew up as the neglected middle child of 5. In 2018, he graduated from James Madison University where he majored in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. During his time at JMU, Austin met his beautiful wife, Jessi, through his involvement with RUF. They got married in May of 2018. If given a free day, you'd likely find Austin outside playing sports, spending time with his wife, satisfying his extroverted itch with friends, or yelling at a TV screen as his favorite sports teams disappoint him yet again.
