Meet Our Team
Taylor McPherson
Taylor McPherson grew up in Lubbock, Texas, graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University and Belmont University with degrees in music performance and vocal pedagogy, and is finishing up his Master of Divinity degree with Reformed Theological Seminary.
While at Trevecca, Taylor met his lovely wife, Denise – they got married in 2012 and have been blessed with three wonderful children, Judah (2017), Pierce (2017), and Lily (2020). When not doing fun things with his family, you can find Taylor reading, writing music, or drinking coffee.
Before coming to Texas Tech, Taylor served as the Director of Vocal Studies at Trevecca and the Director of Worship and Young Adults at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church (PCA). The McPhersons are absolutely THRILLED to be ministering to the students at Texas Tech (Guns Up!) and are so grateful for the opportunity to serve in Taylor’s hometown (what a blessing!).
