Welcome to RUF Samford! We are a campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) that exists to reach students from all walks of life with the good news of the Gospel. We are here for the believer and the skeptic, the convinced and the unconvinced. Our mission is to be a safe community that wrestles together with the claims of God's Word and that equips students for a lifetime of loving Jesus and serving him wherever they are.

We'd love for you to jump in! Please reach out to us if you would like to know more. We would love to welcome you into RUF at Samford.

Brooks Brown

Intern

Brooks is originally from Franklin, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee where his faith and his relationship with Jesus became his own. He was a Young Life leader in Knoxville for three years, which is what first excited him about ministry and led him to the RUF Internship. Brooks loves quality time with friends, a competitive game of pickleball, and a good cup of coffee. He is excited to join the Samford RUF team and see all that God has in store for him and the students there!

Mary Blake Fletcher

In her free time, Mary Blake loves embroidery, gardening, pickleball, going on walks with friends, and watching anything created by PBS masterpiece. She is so excited to be in Birmingham and to see how God is moving at Samford University!
