Joe and Kiana are thrilled to be back at Rutgers to serve and love college students. You can usually find them walking with their kids or enjoying conversation at a local coffee shop, park, or restaurant. They would love for you to join them.

Sarah Daly

Sarah Daly

Intern

Sarah grew up in Maryland and graduated from Emory University, where she studied Math and Classics. From her very first days on campus, RUF was a place where Sarah found refreshment, encouragement, and community. RUF has played an enormous role in Sarah’s story, and she is very excited to get to know and love students at Rutgers. Sarah swam in college, but is always down to try a new adventure! She loves swimming, biking, reading, and a good laugh with friends.

Josh LoPiccolo

Intern

Josh is from Westminster in Carroll County, Maryland, and graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He is the third of six children born to his PCA church-planting parents. Josh loves his family deeply. Growing up a covenant child in a faithful PCA church, he was exposed to the beauty of the Gospel from a young age and has been following Christ for as long as he can remember. Josh decided to attend UMBC for three reasons: it was close to home, his brother told him to, and it had an RUF chapter run by his parents' dear friends, Trip and Joy Beans. Through RUF at UMBC, the Lord showed Josh how much he didn't know about grace, humility and love, revealing to him the true nature of his own pride and brokenness. Throughout those years of wrestling with God and his own self, Josh learned to depend not on himself but on the sovereign, free and unchangeable love of God the Father, the merit and intercession of Jesus Christ, and the abiding of the Spirit. Josh is so excited to be at Rutgers, to make new relationships and see the Lord work in New Jersey! He is thrilled to be so close to his family's roots in Brooklyn, mainly for because of his love for good pizza and the Yankees. Josh loves the outdoors, hunting whitetail deer, exploring, and playing sports. He loves to sing and plays the piano, guitar and bass guitar. He also spends a lot of time reading theology, philosophy, history, and Tolkien. Go Scarlet Knights!
