Rowan University

Come join us for Large Group, Wednesday at 7:00 in Student Center 129!

Welcome to the web page for Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Rowan University! We are the college ministry arm of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and our aim is to connect students to Jesus Christ and equip them to serve him on campus and throughout their lives. We do this by gathering students together to study the Bible, to encourage one another, and to serve our campus and community. We look forward to meeting you and exploring the claims of Jesus Christ together.

Jonathan Hatt

Jonathan Hatt

Campus Minister

Jonathan was born and raised in sunny Southwest Florida, but he has considered the Mid-Atlantic home for nine years. Jonathan came to Westminster Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2017, while serving a church plant in Delaware County (Hope Presbyterian Church) and Wilmington, DE (Faith Presbyterian Church). He briefly served as an assistant pastor with Hope before moving to New Jersey and join RUF in 2024. He loves the several types of students he meets who make up our amazing campus, and is down for any conversation!

Will Bausch

Will Bausch

Campus Assistant

William Bausch was called as part-time Campus Associate at Reformed University Fellowship at Rowan in August of 2022. In January of 2024, he transitioned to the position of Campus Assistant when Jonathan Hatt came on as Campus Minister. This fall, he hopes to begin attending Covenant Seminary, with the eventual goal of becoming a full-time Pastor.

Will serves at RUF along with his wife, Sara. They have four children–Autumn, who is 19 and attending RUF; Emmaline, 16; Silas, 12; and Harrison, 8. He is an elder at Mercy Hill Church, which is within walking distance of Rowan. He is also a full-time English teacher at Lenape High School, and Sara is a full-time homeschool teacher. Will and Sara live in Elk township, two miles from the campus of Rowan University.

Will and Sara met at Rowan, and, through Sara, Will began to attend a Christian group, Rowan Christian Fellowship (which, unfortunately, no longer exists). This is where Will first heard the good news of the Gospel! God used this time at Rowan to bring Will to Himself, so it is especially exciting to think the same thing could happen to many other Rowan students through Reformed University Fellowship–perhaps several times over during the next few years or decades!

Sara Bausch

Sara Bausch

Campus Staff

Sara Bausch is a new part-time female staff at RUF Rowan University after volunteering for RUF the last three years alongside her husband, Will, who also works part-time for RUF. She is a certified Secondary Education English major from Rowan University and taught in the public school for four years. She has most recently been a stay-at-home/ homeschool mom to her four children for the last twenty years. She also has been running a homeschool theater group for the last eight years, where she both writes and directs full-length plays and interactive murder mystery performances for the local public.
