Meet Our Team
Kris Cooper
Rev. Kris Cooper was born and raised in Newark, Delaware. He hhas been married for over 14 years with his lovely wife, Santae Cooper, and two beautiful children, Alexis & Andrew. He is a graduate of Bucknell University and has his Mastor's degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University. He is currently the campus minister at North Carolina Central University after being hired to start a new chapter of RUF there in 2017. Kris loves a good movie, cheering for his pro and college athletic teams and doing ministry with a smile and joyful heart.
Travon Williams
Travon has been serving with RUF since 2023. He is originally from Warner Robins, GA, and graduated from the University of West Georgia. While studying at UWG, he was heavily impacted by the ministry of Campus Outreach. After graduation, he worked in the business field before becoming a middle school mathematics educator for 3.5 years. During his time as a teacher, he developed a passion for helping young people see the Gospel through coaching sports. He currently attends Covenant Theological Seminary where he pursuing his M. Div.
In his free time, Travon enjoys listening to music and podcasts, reading, and following the Atlanta Falcons, Oklahoma Sooners, and any team LeBron James plays for. He also likes watching low-budget films.
