Reformed Univeristy Fellwowship (RUF) is an on-campus student organization at Mississippi College committed to reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve. If you are a new or current student at MC, we would love to meet you and learn how we as campus ministry can serve you.
Meet Our Team
Jeff became the RUF Campus Minister at Mississippi College in June '12. Prior to coming to MC, Jeff worked with RUF at the University of Texas at Tyler for six years. Jeff is originally from Madison, MS, and received his undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Journalism at Mississippi State University. He earned his M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. His wife, Dominique, is from Fort Worth, TX. She has an English degree with an Art minor from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Following college, she worked with RUF as intern at Mississippi State for three years, which is where she met Jeff. They have four children- Jeffrey, Wells, Henry and Caroline. We love working with college students and teaching them about the Lord. As a family, we like to play "Sharks and minnows" in our front yard, and we eat breakfast for dinner on Sunday nights.
Anne Michal Carter
Anne Michal was born in Mississippi but traded one maroon for another when she moved from Starkville to College Station, Texas at age 8. She stayed in College Station for college, attending Texas A&M University where she majored in Kinesiology and met her husband Grant Carter. They then did the RUF internship together at Mississippi State and are now excited about moving to Jackson summer of 2022. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, drinking coffee, reading, playing any pick-up sport, and watching Braves baseball or Aggie football.
