Gotham Student Movement is a community of undergraduate students who gather together in the heart of New York City, experience Jesus through fellowship, worship, and the Word, and together pursue the flourishing of our peers, schools, and city.

RUF Gotham consists of students from Fordham University (Lincoln Center and Rose Hill), Hunter College, City College, and many other campuses mainly in Midtown NYC. Join us for our Large Group, Small Groups, and various hangouts and service opportunities around the city!

Wei Ho

Wei Ho

Campus Minister

Wei is from Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Georgia Tech (BS International Affairs) and Reformed Theological Seminary Atlanta (MDiv). He’s previously worked with college students with Mission to the World sending them on mission trips around the world and as a college student pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Wei’s a foodie, bubble tea connoisseur, Atlanta Braves baseball fan, book worm, drummer, tennis player, and lover of big dogs. While new to NYC, he’s excited to live in this city and explore it with you.

Johanny Mercedes


Johanny was born and raised in East Harlem, New York, and graduated from Hunter College, which is where she first found RUF. Now, she is returning to serve college students as an intern at RUF Gotham! Her favorite things to do include reading, cooking, and having picnics in Central Park. Her favorite movies are the Princess Bride, Hercules, and she currently enjoys watching the TV show Only Murders in the Building.
