Welcome to RUF at FAU. We are a campus ministry that welcomes students from any and all walks of life. Whether you are a first year freshmen or a last semester senior, we would love for you to join us at any of our weekly events. Our desire is to be a place where you can find community, grow in your faith, and learn more about what it means to be a follower of Christ.

Meet Our Team
Jeff Lee
Jeff is originally from Lake Worth, Florida, and graduated from Florida Atlantic University. He went to seminary at RTS in Charlotte, North Carolina. He and Jenny were married in 2004 and have 4 boys, Jake, Caleb, Andrew, and Tyler. This is the Lee's 14th year with RUF and they love getting to serve students at FAU.
Canaan Bennett
Canaan grew up in central Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Business Management. His father, a PCA pastor, highly encouraged him to check out RUF on campus. Canaan quickly fell in love with the RUF community and served on ministry team all 4 years of his college experience. Canaan loves coffee, CrossFit, and the Atlanta Braves. Canaan is super excited to move to South Florida and hopes to build deep relationships with students at Florida Atlantic University.
Jon Podraza
Jon has just recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Commercial Music Technology. He was heavily involved with RUF @ FAU 3 out of 4 years serving on the worship team and on the ministry team, helping connect and minister to new students. Jon has the amazing opportunity to go back to FAU and serve the ministry of RUF, connecting and meeting with students one-on-one and intentionally leading the students who serve on the worship team with his prior experience leading worship.
