East Tennessee State University

Dessert and Worship Nights Tuesdays 7:30//8pm Culp Auditorium

RUF is a campus ministry that longs to embody the radical love of Jesus. At RUF we don't want to pretend we have it all together. We are people in need of God's grace. Because of this, ALL are welcome to be a part of RUF, regardless of your spiritual/religious background or beliefs. RUF exists for the convinced and unconvinced, the anxious and the depressed, the burned, bored, cynical and spiritual.
Whoever you are and whatever your story, RUF exists for you!

Will Barbour

Will Barbour

Campus Minister

Will was born and raised in Boone, NC. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill ('13) and Reformed Theological Seminary Charlotte ('19). Before entering seminary, Will served as the RUF Intern at the University of South Carolina for three years. During the internship, Will met his wife Hayley, who was serving as the RUF Intern at Wofford College. Hayley is a graduate of Western Kentucky University ('15). The Barbours currently have 3 kids in their home ages 5, 3, and 3 months. You can usually find the Barbours at a playground, riding bikes, or eating cheese dip!

Veronica Pierre

Veronica Pierre

Intern

Veronica grew up in Oak Grove, Kentucky and graduated from Western Kentucky University with degrees in math and psychology. She attended RUF throughout college and found it to be a warm, truth-centered place where questions about Jesus were welcomed and where her own story was heard; like her own past interns and campus ministers, she hopes to walk with her students as a safe and encouraging friend during her time at ETSU. Veronica loves playing ultimate frisbee, spending time with her friends, and reading anything by C.S. Lewis.
