Chandler Rowlen
Chandler has been the Campus Minister at Carson-Newman since the fall of 2019. He is originally from Brandon, Mississippi and graduated from Ole Miss in 2009, and RTS Jackson in 2014. Chandler married Leah on June 1, 2013, and they have 2 boys, Judson and Ford, and a daughter, Lizzie Mae. The Rowlen family can't wait to meet you!
Mary Ellen McCrary
Mary Ellen grew up on a small farm in Zachary, Louisiana, where she and her wonderful siblings took a break from bickering to build forts in the tree line, swing, and learn to ride. She graduated from Louisiana State University in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Social Work. She hopes to eventually get her Master’s in Counseling! Mary Ellen finds joy in singing, creating art with calligraphy, hunkering down with a good book, and trying to expand her horribly lacking movie education (because she watches her favorites on repeat). Mary Ellen grew up knowing the Lord and He used RUF and the local church (South Baton Rouge Pres) to continue teaching her about who He is, what He has done, what He has promised, and what that means for her life. Mary Ellen is beyond excited to be moving to Tennessee to join RUF’s ministry at Carson Newman University!
