Nathan Dicks
Rev. Nathan Dicks founded RUF at BU in 2014 after graduating with his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA. Nathan studied at Clemson University, planning to follow in his dad's footsteps as an architect until the financial collapse of 2008 sent him in a different direction. Realizing his love for studying and teaching the Bible to college students, he ministered at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia for two years then moved to Boston to begin seminary. Nathan is married to Sarah and has two sons, Ward (2019) and Henry (2021). Nathan loves meeting new people, running, playing golf, anything outdoors, travel and good music. Serena Jones
Serena grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, graduated from Millersville University in 2018, and has been living in Boston and loving it ever since. She was involved in RUF while in college, and that experience grew her relationship with Jesus, understanding of Scripture, friendships, and love for ministry, all leading her to follow God’s call to ministry in Boston! She is thrilled to get to walk alongside the students of BU through their journeys of faith. Serena loves singing, playing board games with friends, trying out new coffee shops in Boston, and having deep conversations while strolling along the Charles River Esplanade.
Mitchell Cloutier
Mitchell grew up outside of Knoxville, TN, and currently serves as the RUF intern at Boston University. Mitch’s love for RUF began while he was in college at the University of Memphis, and after being discipled by the wonderful RUF community on campus, he has now decided to give back and serve college students in the way that he was served. After he finishes his two years as an Intern, he hopes to go to seminary and someday to become a pastor. In his spare time, Mitch enjoys books, hiking, and good food.
Sarah Fritzsche
Sarah is from Springfield, VA which is just south of Washington DC. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2022. During her time at Pitt, Sarah was deeply impacted by RUF and grew immensely in her faith. RUF was a place where Sarah felt at home and got to experience the joy of being in Christian community. She is excited to have the opportunity to share the joy of the Gospel with students at Boston University! In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing soccer, piano, board games, doing cross stitch projects and listening to podcasts.
