Drew Burdette

Drew Burdette

Campus Minister

In 2022 the Burdettes were excited to move to Boise, ID to continue the work of RUF at Boise State University. They are no strangers to the Pacific Northwest or to RUF, though. Prior to the move, Drew served as the RUF campus minister at both Oregon State University (2020-2022) and at the University of Washington (2012-2020).

In 2008, Drew and Jessica met at the L’Abri outside of Boston, MA. It was here that they fell in love with one another and developed a heart for ministering to those outside of the church. They married shortly after and moved to Saint Louis to attend Covenant Theological Seminary, where Drew received a Master of Divinity and Jessica a Master of Arts in Counseling.

After graduating, they immediately moved to Seattle, WA and jumped into full time ministry with RUF. While in Seattle, the Lord graciously blessed them with two boys, Asa (b.2014) and Beau (b.2016). The Burdettes’ love to spend time together outdoors. Asa is a budding wildlife photographer and Beau is one of Boise’s newest fly fisherman. Jessica sends her days educating our boys at home and exploring all that Boise has to offer. She loves to read, cook amazing meals, and spend time making new friends. Drew has a million hobbies that he dabbles with and never masters… leather work, ukulele, cycling, and fly fishing are some of his latest. Oh, and they have a ridiculous bernadoodle named Stella.

Thanks so much for your interest in the Burdettes and RUF at Boise State. If you’re a student, we’d love to have you join our group. Potential donor? Let’s get coffee soon! Whoever you are, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Alex Bosgraf

Alex Bosgraf

Campus Staff

Alex grew up in Lookout Mountain Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2014. She was originally placed at Boise State as an intern and has been working as Campus Staff since 2016!  You can find her hiking in the Boise foothills, playing yard games in a park, or eating at one of the fun restaurants in the city. Alex graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with a Masters in Counseling in 2022. She loves engaging with students who come to Boise State and exploring the campus, the city, and the gospel of Jesus alongside them. She also loves to read, watch movies, knit/craft, and spend time with friends.

Hannah Scott

Hannah Scott

Intern

Hannah grew up in Puyallup, Washington, and she is a proud Boise State graduate! She loves Boise and her community there. During her time in RUF at BSU, Hannah was deeply impacted by her Campus Minister and Campus Staff, as well as upperclassmen who took time to know her and make her feel loved. RUF is a huge reason she was able to succeed in college away from home. She met so many close friends and grew in her faith!

You can find Hannah at one of Boise's many amazing coffee shops or in her hammock by the Boise River. She loves reading, doing puzzles, watching baseball (go Mariners!), and spending time with friends. She's excited to play a part in making other students feel at home at Boise State and be a light for Christ there. Reach out to her for a coffee, hammock sesh, or just a chat!

Liam Weathers

Liam Weathers

Intern

Liam grew up in Concord, North Carolina. He graduated from Belhaven University with a bachelor of arts in Biblical studies. He was raised within a loving family that showed him the Gospel every day. Liam got involved with RUF early on in college and was moved by the ministry. He has seen his faith boosted and been encouraged to pursue the Internship to share the Gospel with the broken and the lost. Liam can be found hanging out with his friends, playing ultimate frisbee, watching movies, and watching college football (mostly Ohio State). He loves to try new things, especially when it comes to food and cooking. He looks forward to sharing Christ with students as he interns at Boise State University.
