Auburn University

Join us on Monday nights from 8-9 pm in Dudley B6

Welcome to RUF at Auburn! Our mission is to reach students for Christ and equip them with the knowledge and experience they need to serve in God's Kingdom for the rest of their lives. As an organization we strive to embody the lived graciousness of the Gospel proclaimed by Jesus Christ and his disciples. We believe that you are never so good that you are beyond the need of God's grace and you are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God's grace, offered in Jesus.

Meet Our Team

Tanner Crum

Tanner Crum

Campus Minister

The Crums have been serving with RUF at Auburn since 2019 (from left to right: Kelsey, Spender (3), Tanner, Heston (1). Tanner and Kelsey went to the University of South Carolina where they were first introduced to RUF as students. After college, they moved to Greenville, SC and Tanner worked as an RUF intern at Furman University. In 2015, Tanner began his seminary career at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte where he received his M.Div. and Kelsey founded a mobile dance outreach non-profit organization called Carolina Dance Collaborative. During his time in seminary, Tanner worked at Downtown Presbyterian Church, Grace and Peace Presbyterian Church and was an Interim Campus Minister at Wofford College. Needless to say, they love RUF and are excited to be a part of the work God is doing at Auburn!

Lucy Brennan

Lucy Brennan

Intern

Lucy grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and she graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. From her first time at RUF freshman year, she was drawn to the intentionality and encouragement of the RUF community. Lucy is beyond excited to meet the students at Auburn and continue seeing the ways that God is at work!

Gracie DeLoache

Gracie DeLoache

Intern

Gracie DeLoache grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a major in Communications and minors in Health and Human Services and Classical Studies. She loves long walks with friends, coffee, good books, and the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice. Gracie experienced God's goodness in immeasurable ways during her time in RUF at Wake Forest, and she could not be more excited to join the staff at Auburn and walk alongside college students as the Lord is at work in their lives.

Chris Duncan

Chris Duncan

Intern

Chris was born in West Point, Georgia, right down the road from Auburn, but grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After high school, he graduated college from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a major in Finance and minor in Leadership. RUF had a major impact on his walk with the Lord during his time in college and he got to serve on the leadership team for his last three years. He likes spending time outside, whether its playing pickleball, running, or just anything that keeps him active with his friends. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and listening to the Avett Brothers. Chris is so excited to move to Auburn and get to know all of the students there!

Andrew Mauney

Andrew Mauney

Intern

Andrew is originally from Mooresville, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Philosophy in 2022. After graduation, he spent a year on staff with Salem Presbyterian Church in Winston Salem, NC. After spending a year working with RUF at MIT, he is excited to transition to Auburn! When Andrew is not spending time with college students, you can find him on the golf course, reading a good book, or enjoying a cup of coffee. Andrew loves the ministry of RUF and is passionate about seeing God at work in the lives of college students.
