It was another 3 wonderful weeks taking over Laguna Beach Christian Retreat in Panama City, Florida for our annual Summer Conference. This year we had three main speakers including Rev. Elbert McGowan, Rev. Russ Whitfield, and Rev. John Stone who each were able to connect with the students to better help them understand how the gospel impacts every area of their lives. We also had numerous staff who led different seminars in the morning covering topics including What the Bible has to say about Heaven and Hell, The Trinity, Sexuality and so many more. Outside of large group and seminars students also enjoyed plenty of time on the beach or in other recreational activities fellowshipping with one another and having fun!
We are so thankful for all of the donors who helped provide scholarships and eagerly prayed with us for the over 2,000 students in attendance in 2017.
We’re always sad to say goodbye at the end of Summer Conference but one thing is clearer than ever: God is at work! Praise the Lord for all He has done through #rufsuco2017.
