New Assistant Coordinator Named

Reformed University Fellowship is pleased to announce that the Reverend John Pearson will be the next Assistant Coordinator. For the last ten years, John has served as an Area Coordinator for RUF. Prior to that, he was the RUF Campus Minister at Washington and Lee University for six years.

John, his wife Laura and their children Marion, Maxwell, and Libby will continue to live in Lexington, Virginia.
“I am grateful to serve in this role for the ministry that has shaped me so significantly since my freshman year of college,” John said of his new role with RUF.  “The special gift of RUF in my life has been the wealth and depth of relationships…with friends in college, with students as a campus minister, and with RUF staff while serving as an area coordinator for these past 10 years. I am looking forward to many aspects of this job, but getting to know and serving alongside campus ministers and staff excites me most.”

Tom Cannon, National Coordinator of RUF commented, “John is ideally suited to be the new Assistant Coordinator of RUF. He brings a high level of experience and maturity. He’s both connected in many ways to the roots of RUF and the ongoing efforts to expand the scope and breadth of our ministry. I have the absolute highest confidence and expectation that John will serve wisely and well.”
