From the Coordinator | SUMMER 2026

Dear Friends,

As I reflect on a whirlwind first year as Coordinator, the highlights include getting to know our incredible ministry staff and participating in Large Groups around the country, Summer Conference, and our staff training weeks. This ministry is profoundly blessed by purpose-driven, faithful men and women on campuses across the U.S. and throughout the world who live out our mission: reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve.

Each summer, we say goodbye to many graduating students. We believe that the ordinary life of a Christian is best lived out within the context of the local church, so our hope and prayer is that churches will be filled with students emerging from RUF who rely on these foundational truths:

  • Scripture is relevant and authoritative in their lives
  • They are fully justified and accepted by the finished work of Jesus
  • They are embarking on a grace-filled life of sanctification, guided by the Holy Spirit

One priority of my first year as Coordinator has been developing a series of initiatives designed to fulfill RUF National’s purpose: to create and sustain Gospel-driven campus ministries. One of these initiatives is establishing a plan to support future growth. We want our organization to be one that can grow deeper through existing campus ministries and grow wider through new campus ministries. By creating a healthier model for both kinds of growth across RUF, we hope to reach more students with the Good News, so that they, too, will one day graduate and enter the world as servant-leaders.

Thank you for your prayers for our students and staff, and for your encouragement to those on the front lines. We are also deeply grateful for your financial support—both to staff and campus accounts and to the National Ministry—which allows us to better recruit, mentor, shepherd, and train our staff, who we hope will be the future leaders of our churches.

Gratefully,

Andrew Rein
Coordinator for RUF
