From the Coordinator | Spring 2026

Dear Friends,

In the summer of 2025, as we were transitioning from RUF’s fifth Coordinator to its sixth, we were also entering the final six months of our first-ever capital campaign and were $3 million short of our goal. We gave it everything we had, stayed faithful, and trusted that the Lord would provide what was needed for this ministry.

As Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 3, we are all the Lord’s servants, each assigned a task: “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” And on December 31, through the Lord moving in the hearts of His saints, He gave the growth as we surpassed our capital campaign goal of $26.8M, finishing just north of $27M. We are profoundly thankful.

Your support enables us to recruit staff to launch new campus ministries, bolster existing ones, and provide scholarships for Campus Assistants and Interns as they enhance our ministries while discerning a potential call to full-time vocational ministry.

At RUF National, our purpose is to create and sustain Gospel-driven campus ministries. In order to fulfill that purpose, we aim to increase the average tenure serving on campus for both Campus Ministers and Campus Staff. Reducing turnover allows for more effective ministry, deeper connections to people and places, and the ability to plant additional new campus ministries. Your partnership will allow us to focus on recruiting and retaining ministry staff, which you’ll hear more about inside this newsletter.

As C.S. Lewis writes in The Last Battle: “Then they all went forward together, always westward… ‘Further up and further in!’” It is a joy and privilege to be a part of this ministry, following the direction of our Savior and the Holy Spirit as we go, together, further up and further in.

Gratefully,

Andrew Rein
