RUF is a Christian campus ministry serving Brown University, The Rhode Island School of Design, Johnson & Wales University, and other Providence-area schools. We prize the gospel of Jesus Christ and scripture as the very word of God. Our goal is to explore and to grow in Faith, Work, and Leadership. We welcome students from all different backgrounds, both the "convinced" Christian and the "unconvinced" who want to know more about Christianity.

Lissy graduated from Appalachian State University (Go ‘Neers) with a degree in Studio Art and a minor in Early Childhood Special Education. She was born and raised in the mountains of western North Carolina and enjoys making art, playing the banjo, and baking cinnamon rolls. Despite her southern roots, much of Lissy’s family spent their lives as missionaries in South Korea, contributing to her love of Asian cultures and Korean food. RUF was a huge part of Lissy’s life in college, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the ministry in Providence, RI.
