Emily is from Muscle Shoals, AL. She attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a degree in Secondary Education in 2018. At MSU, she was involved with RUF for all four years and served on ministry teams like Freshman Outreach. RUF was a large part of Emily's life during her time at MSU, and she is very excited about serving with RUF at UAB. She is also thrilled to be living in a city where the best grocery store in not Kroger. Emily is known for loving to read but claiming to never have enough time to do so, having odd standards for food, loving cats a little too much, and constantly explaining her dry sense of humor. You can typically find her rewatching her favorite TV shows on Netflix, exhaustively listening to Broadway musicals, reading, walking around campus, and trying new restaurants.
