Whether you're a student, prospective student, or a parent we're so glad you want to know more about RUF at Queens. RUF at Queens exists so students can explore the good news of Jesus Christ in a community of discussion, fellowship, and service. Whatever your background or beliefs, you are welcome at RUF! We seek to be a welcoming, thoughtful, and (yes!) fun community pointing to the goodness and graciousness of God in Christ.
Have questions? Email campus minister Josh Grimm at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Josh is from Charleston, SC and graduated from Erskine College (where he was involved with RUF as a student) in 2009 with a B.A. in Philosophy and Bible & Religion. He worked in retail collections for BB&T from 2009-2012. During that time he met and began dating his now wife, Ashley. After marrying in June of 2012, Josh and Ashley moved to Charlotte, NC where Ashley has worked as a pediatric nurse, and Josh served as a pastoral intern at King's Cross Church (where Josh and Ashley still attend), worked way too many part-time jobs, and studied at Reformed Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 2015.
Josh and Ashley have one son, Isaac, and enjoy taking walks around Charlotte, eating Mexican food, and having students over for dinner (pizza and breakfast for dinner are two of Ashley's specialties!). Josh loves serving with RUF at Queens, and you can often find him hanging out in the coffee house or outside with a frisbee.
