Chad Jowers

Chad Jowers

Campus Minister

Originally from South Carolina, the Jowers come to Georgia Tech by way of many different ministry experiences and places. After college, Chad & Leslie worked in the legal field and business world until God called them to live overseas as missionaries (in over a dozen countries). Upon returning to the US, they went to seminary earning graduate degrees at Covenant Seminary, then ventured across the pond again for Chad to complete a postgrad degree at the University of Edinburgh (ABD). Chad and Leslie have four crazy and truly awesome kiddos who love hanging out with "big kids" (aka college students) and also hope to get a dog soon. Chad believes that most 90’s music can be used as a sermon illustration, dad jokes are a key factor in restoring world peace, and that mint chocolate chip combinations were due to original rebellion by Adam and Eve. Though they have many stories to tell, the Jowers most enjoy being with students and hearing their stories, walking through life with them, and creating a community that not only feels safe but welcomes all. So, if you are a GT student, join us! They would love to walk with you and love on you with as much Jesus as possible.

Noah Kershner

Noah Kershner

Fellow

Noah was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2021 with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Religion. He married his high school sweetheart, Julia, soon afterwards! During his time with RUF at UGA, he grew in the knowledge of God's grace and felt a calling towards relational ministry. He is excited to get to know students at Georgia Tech and experience how the Lord will be at work in Atlanta! Noah loves all things Georgia football, quoting "The Office," playing a round of golf, and finding a good wing place (which he has heard the ATL has plenty of).
