Welcome- regardless of your beliefs or doubts. RUF seeks to be an honest community for the convinced and unconvinced to explore Christianity at Georgia Tech. A safe place where people can learn, grow, and struggle with who Jesus is and what it means to follow him. A place of rest for anxious Tech students. A place to enjoy campus life together.

Michael Phillips

Michael is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis, MO. He grew up in Texas and attended Belhaven University where he studied Business Administration. It was at Belhaven that he first became involved in RUF and was able to work with his follow students as a Resident Assistant in campus housing for three years. After graduating college in 2007, he went on to serve as an intern with Lagniappe Presbyterian Church on the Hurricane Katrina ravaged Gulf Coast. Michael then returned to the college context, interning with RUF at the University of Tennessee from 2008-2010. Given a free Saturday morning, you would likely find Michael running, reading, cooking, gardening, enjoying sports, and spending time with people.

Matthew Roelofs

Matt grew up in Memphis and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2015, where he became involved with RUF, his local church, and an after-school program. Through these service opportunities, he found a heart for loving people and swooned at the idea of working with RUF. He served as an RUF intern for Mississippi State for two years before getting married and moving to Atlanta. He's currently working on getting his Masters of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS). He and his wife Jackie have a playful golden doodle named Ash. Given any free time, you’re likely to find Matt running, swimming, spikeballing, dancing, dog-walking, throwing frisbee, board-gaming, searching dank memes, theme-parking, enjoying time with his wife and friends, or making chocolate chip cookies.

Gracelyn Wolf

Gracelyn is a proud graduate of the City College of New York, born and raised in NYC. While getting her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in History from CCNY, she became involved with City Campus RUF through her home church, along with students at a variety of other universities in the NYC area. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with students at Georgia Tech through RUF, as well as getting to experience the great city of Atlanta for the first time. In her spare time, Grace enjoys photography, watching Law and Order, and trying out new restaurants with friends.
