Stephen Speaks

After graduating from Clemson University in 1993, Stephen Speaks started coursework at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. After his first year there, Stephen and his wife, Rebekah, accepted a short-term staff position with RUF at the University of Southern Mississippi and returned to Covenant Seminary in 1996. Stephen graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 1998, and is in his 19th year with RUF at Clemson. Stephen and Rebekah have three children, Kathryn, Connor, and Paul.

Caleb Blake

Caleb is from Montgomery, Alabama, and attended Auburn University where he graduated with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management. RUF had a huge impact on his life while at Auburn... I mean, it is where he met his wife... And because of this, both he and Mary Elizabeth felt called to return to the ministry. He has a passion for the outdoors, and loves to backpack, hike, fish, hunt, and watch birds (he has a huge passion for birds). He, of course, loves to do all of these with both his wife and dog, Roofus.

Mary Elizabeth Blake

Mary Elizabeth was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and attended college at Auburn University. It was there that she met her husband, Caleb, through the impeccable community RUF has to offer. Through much prayer and consideration, she and Caleb decided to give back to the ministry that has offered them so much. After graduating with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Mary Elizabeth is interested in helping students understand their story and how they can understand the Gospel through that story. In her spare time, you could find Mary Elizabeth cooking Mexican food, watching HGTV, snuggling with her pup, or searching for bargains from a thrift store.
