Welcome to New York City! Mark Twain said it best: if you can make your mark here then you’ve made it, you’ve arrived. And every year, nearly a million college students from around the globe come here to chase that dream. And while NYC is a great place to learn, grow, and experience life, it can also be competitive, chaotic, and lonely.

In the midst of all that, RUF City Campus is a community where we wrestle with our doubts, deepen our faith, and find new friendships. It's a place where we can learn about and connect with God. It’s a place where we discover the answers to our deepest questions and find joyful purpose for our lives.

Matthew Terrell

Matt hails from Atlanta, GA and is happily married to Megan. They have three children -- Eliot, Zoey and Margaret. Matt graduated from Clemson University in 2007 and, after a year and a half working in construction management, God called he and Megan to seminary in St. Louis where they both earned graduate degrees. From there he served as RUF campus minister at Samford University in Birmingham, AL for four years until coming to NYC to work with City Campus. Though now in New York City, he still cheers for his hometown Atlanta Braves and Clemson's football team. He also likes fly fishing, reading, drawing, watching Seinfeld, and eating donuts.

Madeline Francis

After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2014, Madeline joined the City Campus team in 2015. After serving two years as an intern, she began working as Campus Staff in 2017. She is thrilled to make a long-term commitment to work with students in New York City. She's an avid reader and an even more devoted eater. Ask her to take you on her Dumpling tour of NYC.
